New Max Blastronaut Screenshots

Panya has posted a few new screenshots of Max Blastronaut for your viewing pleasure. He tells me that if you stare at them long enough, the images become 3D.  I think it would be easier to just integrate my stereoscopic rendering technique into our game. We’ll see who wins this battle :)

A Little Help From My Friends

offworld.jpg Somebody noticed us at Coin App! – Thanks to our friends at Flashbang Studios. After Flashbang name dropped us in an interview with GameSetWatch, Brandon Boyer from OffWorld.com wrote a nice little blurb about Max Blastronaut. The fact that Flashbang mentioned us in the same breath with ThatGameCompany and Infinite Ammo is incredibly flattering, considering they are such inspirational and influential forces in the Indie game development community.

New Max Blastronaut Gameplay Video

We’ve all been working hard on Max Blastronaut and Panya has posted a new video of some of the latest improvements in the game.  A few of the highlights you’ll see in the new video at coinapp.com?  Screen space ambient occlusion, lens flares, crepescular rays, updated enemy AI, and scene background space battles.  Now that I’ve got the game engine mostly under control, it seems like new game features are coming online every single day.  As always, stay tuned to the Coin App website for updates (Hint: new high-resolution screenshots coming soon!).
